Rewatch the sermon on YouTube:

Read the Scripture given for the sermon:
- Summarize what the verses say in your own words.
- Reflecting on these verses, what strikes you the most? Why?
- What is most challenging in these verses? Encouraging? New?
- What did you learn about God/Jesus/ the Holy Spirit?
Think about the Sermon:

- What did the preacher challenge you with at the end of the sermon?
- What insight, principle, or observation from the message did you find to be:

This website gives you various translations of the scripture. Sometimes reading another translation can give you insight in the verses. (e.g. NIV (New International Version; NLT (New Living Translation: ESV English Standard Version; AMP (Amplified Version); MSG (The Message)
2. gotquestions.org
This website answers millions of questions you might have along with the scripture that explains the answer written. For example, if the sermon was about living a peaceful, calm life, you could put in the question - How does God help us be calm? There would be several articles answering that question.
